Benefits

1. Increases the sensitivity of the palms and fingers to qi.
2. Stimulates qi emission and the interaction of internal energy with external energy.
2. Cultivates qi ball that can be used for self healing and for treating chronic ailments.
This method is simple and also suitable for beginners.
Method
1. Stand relaxed with knees slightly bent and distance between the feet at shoulder width apart.
2. Rub your palms for 2 mins, then raise them to chest level, with palms together and fingers pointing up (a prayer like posture). Stay for 2 mins.
3. Open your palms, with your right palm at chest level facing down while your left palm is at the navel level, facing up.
Distance apart about 30 cm (1 foot). Make sure the palms are centred with each other (Laogung points). The palms are held as if holding a ball.
4. Use your mind intent to feel there's a qi ball between the palms.
5. Rotate your palms in circles in the vertical plane, from small circle to bigger circle, then from the bigger circle to smaller circle for 49 or 108 circles. Then change direction and repeat.
6. Simultaneously with the rotation of the palms, the neck and thoracic vertebrae and joints should move accordingly.
7. After the end of the rotations, slowly raise your palms (facing up) above your head, with a qi ball in each palm.
8. Use your mind intent to move the qi balls into the hands and down into the lower dantian. It can be 2 qi balls or combined into 1 qi ball in your lower dantian.
Make sure you can FEEL the qi balls shrink as they go down your hands and move their way into your lower dantian.
In time and with consistency the qi balls may gleam with a golden light.
9. Normal closing.
With consistent and daily practice, the qi ball in your ldt will become powerful and intense in its energy. It can then be used for self healing or to help others.
